NCGA Tournament: Four Man Two Ball
ASSOCIATE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP – Local and Sectional Qualifying
Entries Close: May 2, 2007.
Local Qualifying Dates: June 6 or 7, 2007. Sites: TBD.
Sectional Qualifying Dates: July 23 or 24, 2007. Sectional Qualifying Site: Poppy Ridge GC.
Championship Dates: August 21-22, 2007. Championship Site: Spyglass Hill GC & Poppy Hills GC. Entry Code: #3083.2.
Limit: One four-person team per club. Entry Fee: $220 per team for local qualifying. 84 qualifying teams pay an additional $220 for one day of sectional qualifying. No additional fee for championship.
ELIGIBILITY: NCGA Associate Clubs ONLY. Multi-members can only represent one club. No players under 18 years of age. A numeric index listed on the May 1 master report not to exceed 36.4 (men) or 40.4 (women). NOTE: SIRS - One four-person team per area is eligible for sectional qualifying.
FORMAT: Best two balls of four. Local Qualifying - 18 holes (June 1 index). 84 teams advance to sectional qualifying. Sectional Qualifying - 18 holes (July 1 index). 30 teams advance to the championship. Championship - 36 holes, 18 holes per day (August 1 index). Play will be 90% (men) and 95% (women) of the course handicap using a maximum index of 18.4 for calculation. All players with indexes of 18.5 and above are eligible but must play to a maximum index of 18.4.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Allowed prior to local and sectional qualifying only. All substitutions must be made by the tournament chairman or a club official, not the player. A player withdrawing needs to contact his club and then the official will contact the NCGA with their substitute. Note:  No substitutions will be accepted after 5 PM on Wednesday May 30 for the Wednesday qualifier (June 6), and no substitutions will be accepted after 5 PM on Thursday May 31 for the Thursday qualifier (June 7).  No substitutions will be accepted after 5 PM on Monday July 16 for the Monday Sectional Qualifying (July 23), and no substitutions will be accepted after 5 PM on Tuesday July 17 for the Tuesday Sectional Qualifying (July 24).
North Bay Golf Club representatives will be determined by results from three club tournaments. Best two scores will be used to calculate ranking. Member must play in at least 2 of the 3 tournaments. Top 4 members will represent the club (1 Lowest Gross and 3 Lowest Net).
