NCGA Tournament: Four Man Two Ball
ASSOCIATE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP – Local and Sectional Qualifying
Entries Close: May 10, 2006.
Local Qualifying Dates: June 7 or 8, 2006. Sites: TBD.
Sectional Qualifying Dates: July 31 or August 1, 2006. Sectional Qualifying Site: Poppy Ridge GC.
Championship Dates: August 21-22, 2006. Championship Site: Spyglass Hill GC & Poppy Hills GC. Entry Code: #3083.2.
Limit: One four-person team per club. Entry Fee: $220 per team for local qualifying. 84 qualifying teams pay an additional $220 for one day of sectional qualifying. No additional fee for championship.
ELIGIBILITY: NCGA Associate Clubs ONLY. Multi-members can only represent one club. No players under 18 years of age. A numeric index listed on the May 1 master report not to exceed 36.4 (men) or 40.4 (women). NOTE: SIRS - One four-person team per area is eligible for sectional qualifying.
FORMAT: Best two balls of four. Local Qualifying - 18 holes (June 1 index). 84 teams advance to sectional qualifying. Sectional Qualifying - 18 holes (July 1 index). 30 teams advance to the championship. Championship - 36 holes, 18 holes per day (August 1 index). Play will be 90% (men) and 95% (women) of the course handicap using a maximum index of 18.4 for calculation. All players with indexes of 18.5 and above are eligible but must play to a maximum index of 18.4.
SUBSTITUTIONS: Allowed prior to local and sectional qualifying only. All substitutions must be made by the tournament chairman or a club official, not the player. A player withdrawing needs to contact his club and then the official will contact the NCGA with their substitute. Note: No substitutions will be accepted after 5 PM on Monday (June 5th) for the Wednesday qualifier (June 7th), and no substitutions will be accepted after 5 PM on Tuesday (June 6th) for the Thursday qualifier (June 8th). No substitutions will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday (July 27th) for the Monday sectional qualifying (July 31st), and no substitutions will be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on Friday (July 28th) for the Tuesday sectional qualifying (August 1st).
North Bay Golf Club representatives will be determined by results from three club tournaments. Best two scores will be used to calculate ranking. Member must play in at least 2 of the 3 tournaments. Top 4 members will represent the club (1 Lowest Gross and 3 Lowest Net).
