Regular Tournaments

Weekend of Golf

NBGC is composed of men and women from the greater Bay Area (21% Women, 79% Men)

62% of members are from Solano County, the rest are from Sacramento, Marin, Peninsula and the East Bay.

Current members vary in age from 28 to 71, with 47% of our members qualifying for senior tournaments (55+). Average age is 52.

We play 18 tournaments a year, from March through November.  We have tournaments
every other week, on Saturdays or Sundays, in different golf courses in the greater Bay
and Sacramento areas.
In addition to gross and net stroke tournament winners, we kick up the fun factor by
offering optional competitions for skins (net and gross), closest to the pin, nassau (net
and gross) and putting contest at each tournament.

In August or September of each year, we have a Weekend of Golf.  It's an opportunity to
bring non-playing significant others to socialize with club members.
We play two rounds of golf, have group dinners and fun activities.  
Weekend of Golf favorites are Reno/Tahoe and Carmel/Monterey.

NCGA Affiliation

We are an NCGA Associate Club of Poppy Hills.  This entitles us to discounted golfing at
Poppy Hills and Poppy Ridge as well as building and maintaining our individual NCGA
handicap.  As an Associate Club, we are entitled to send our representative members to
participate in official NCGA  tournaments.
